Imagine my surprise when I saw nearly a full class in Mrs Orme’s classroom during lunch time. Surely it was not a consequence for poor choices?!
I went in to check in on the learners and I was left feeling so proud of my y10 and grateful to Mrs Orme for giving up her own time to do some additional intervention and support! Mrs Orme and the learners had identified that they needed some additional input on different areas of Maths and all those that had attended had done so voluntarily. To see learners choosing to attend interventions this early in their GCSE course was amazing. A credit to Mrs Orme and themselves!
Thank you very much year 10 and Mrs Orme, a brilliant team.
